Now is the time to act.

We serve the oldest old who are the most vulnerable to the Coronavirus outbreak. Please donate to enable us to let older people across the UK know that they are not forgotten.

At the end of the coronavirus appeal, any funds that have not been spent will be used to support vulnerable, older people engaged in our services.

When you donate to our charity, we will collect your details so that we can process the payment, claim GiftAid (if applicable) and thank you for your gift. We will retain your details in our secure database in order to meet our legal and financial obligations. For more information about online charity donations please view our Privacy Policy.

Other ways to donate

There are many ways you can make a donation to Re-engage, providing us with the vital funds we need to continue supporting isolated older people across the UK.

We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator who ensure best practice in fundraising, in order to protect donors and support the vital work of fundraisers.

How your donation helps

Every month, with the help of our amazing pool of volunteers, we take thousands of older people to our free Sunday afternoon gatherings, offering them a vital lifeline of friendship and helping them reconnect with their communities.

Unfortunately there are many more lonely and isolated elderly people who want our support and we need your help to reach them.

Re-engage has changed my life. I feel like I have a whole new set of friends to talk to. It's wonderful.
Edith, 93

How we spend our money

We are supported by a network of incredible volunteers, whose efforts mean that we are able to keep our costs very low; however we still incur a number of costs in providing support to our volunteers and guests.

We have Support Officers across the UK working to support our groups. Development Officers also play an essential role in developing new groups, as they are responsible for managing the entire process of recruiting enough volunteers and guests to make the group a success.

Once the group has launched either they become the primary source of advice, support and motivation during, and continue to provide "light touch" support for years to come, helping groups when they encounter difficulties or need any additional support.

In our small National Office, our staff work on promoting our work to potential volunteers and guests, reaching out to elderly people through our relationships with health professionals, the Police, Fire and Ambulance services, housing associations and others, and, of course, raising funds to support our groups.
