Final words
This training is developed to raise awareness of equality diversity and inclusion among our volunteers. Together we want Re-engage to be a first-class volunteer-involving organisation and a great place to work. We want to be a place where everyone is valued and can fulfil their full potential. We want all our colleagues, volunteers and supporters to feel comfortable and able to bring their true selves to the charity. Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion and creating a fair culture within an organisation is ongoing and cannot be done without the commitment of all.
Re-engage’s equality, diversity and inclusion policy is fully supported by the trustees and has been agreed with the REACH champions, a small group of staff, from all different departments in Re-engage who champion Re-engage’s strategic goals, REACH strategy.
REACH champions take on additional work to their everyday jobs within the organisation with the aim to enhance and improve people’s experience of Re-engage, whether that be staff, volunteers, older people, or external organisations with the purpose that this group of REACH champions is a force for positive change.
