How Re-engage promotes EDI
Re-engage is committed to ensuring that our volunteers, staff, and older people are not subjected to discriminatory or offensive behaviour and language.
To ensure our organisation is inclusive and promotes equality and diversity:
- We have, and follow, an equality, diversity, and inclusion policy.
- We have procedures in place to report any unlawful discrimination and behaviour.
- We take any complaint and concern of any unlawful discrimination and behaviour seriously and have processes in place to address those problems.
- We provide equality, diversity, and inclusion training to our trustees, volunteers, and staff to raise the awareness of EDI within the Re-engage community.
- We monitor and assess how the equality, diversity, and inclusion policy (and any supporting action plan) are working in practice, review them annually, and take action to address any issues.
