What is GDPR?
GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a European-wide law which became enforceable in May 2018. Since leaving the EU, the UK now has a UK version of GDPR, which is commonly referred to as UK GDPR.
The GDPR aims to strike a balance between the privacy rights of individuals and the ability of organisations to use personal information to conduct their business.
