As a Flicks and Friends volunteer you’ll welcome and support older people at our free monthly cinema club. Our training intends to help you get the most out of your role.
Before you start volunteering with us, you’ll need to complete the online training modules on this page.
- To understand the purpose of the service and what to expect from your role.
- To support you and your fellow volunteers to run a successful flicks and friends event, welcoming new and returning guests, using membership cards.
- To familiarise yourself with what to do if you have any concerns or worries.
- To feel confident about what is expected in your role.
- To feel equipped to welcome, register and log the attendance of guests.
- To feel confident in cash handling and accepting donations on behalf of Re-engage.
- To know how to report problems or any issues you may have.
