From skydives and cycling challenges to obstacle courses and coffee mornings, our corporate partners have been going above and beyond in recent months to support Re-engage and help tackle loneliness in later life.

Leading the way were the Magnificent Eleven from IAG Loyalty, who took a leap against loneliness with a charity skydive, raising an incredible £7,417. Keeping their feet on the ground, a team from Rightio took on the Inflatable 5K at the University of Warwick and raised £1,000. It was their second year tackling the course, bringing their total fundraising for Re-engage to £2,345.

Sarah Wright from Rightio said: "From the first obstacle to the finish line, it was a brilliant day filled with teamwork, encouragement and plenty of laughter. It was fantastic to see so many colleagues getting involved and supporting a charity that makes such a meaningful difference to older people across the UK."

Colleagues from Aptia also joined the Inflatable 5K, with three runners from their Leatherhead office raising £1,600. Meanwhile, Aptia's Ian Shaw took on a challenge of his own, running solo on one of the hottest days of the year and raising a further £762. The team already has more fundraising events planned in the months ahead.

For Lodge Brothers, fundraising came in the form of an epic overnight cycling challenge. James took part in the Stone Circle Knight Ride, covering 212 miles of gravel tracks and more than 15,000 feet of climbing before reaching Stonehenge. After 17 hours and 47 minutes in the saddle, he crossed the finishing line, having raised £1,323.69.

During Loneliness Awareness Week in June, teams across Dodd Group branches in England hosted coffee mornings and raised £1,014. They said: "We are proud to support Re-engage in their mission to deliver essential, life-enhancing social connections for older people."

Every pound raised helps us reach more older people experiencing loneliness and isolation. We're incredibly grateful to all our corporate partners and fundraisers for their energy, commitment, and support.
