Call companions has been running for two years
As the country headed into full lock down, due to the COVID pandemic, which meant our tea parties being put on hold, we were developing a new service to help older people who were now even more isolated and lonely. Meet tea party guest Michael
Michael's birthday coincides with Accession Day on February 6th, 1952 - the day that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne. Four years ago, his neighbour encouraged him to join his local tea party group and he has been attending the monthly parties ever since.
