Our work

One year since the launch of our first in-person activity groups in Wales

We celebrated this milestone with 30 of our older guests at the home of Newport County AFC and Dragons Rugby. There was the chance to take part in various gentle activities, followed by refreshments and a quiz, with the winning team being awarded free tickets to a Dragons Rugby match - come on you Dragons.

Volunteering

"You can’t go wrong with a cup of tea, can you?”

Louise would certainly know, as she's been a tea party volunteer with Re-engage for 16 years, first as a host and now as a group coordinator as well.

The group's current guests and volunteers look forward to the monthly get-togethers and, like many group coordinators, Louise is hoping to attract more members after the group was dormant during the pandemic.
