Leave a legacy of friendship
While our 14,000 volunteer hosts and drivers give their time for nothing, Re-engage needs additional funding to recruit and train more volunteers, to promote our services to new older people and to grow our services across the UK. One way you can help us achieve this is by remembering the work of Re-engage in your will.

Re-engage in London
Our work in London spans every borough. We have 106 tea party groups and our call companions service provides a hugely important connection with the wider world for older people who have very little social contact and struggle to get out of the house.

Making time to make a difference
90-year-old Patricia has been attending the Hoddesdon 1 tea parties since 2019. For group coordinator Sarah, a career change from being a primary school teacher to working from home meant she had more time on her hands. She decided she wanted to use that extra time to do something that made a real difference. Now she and Patricia have struck up a true friendship.

Re-engage and Age concern Crosby come together
From 1 January 2022 Age Concern Crosby became part of Re-engage. Age Concern has been working in the Crosby area for nearly 70 years. As part of Re-engage, the charity will build on those strong foundations, continue its great work, and promote the work of Re-engage in the area.

Meet volunteer tea party host Eva
Eva Everitt is 72 years old and lives in Whitby in North Yorkshire. She worked in a Special school in Sutton Coldfield for 19 years and then as a teaching assistant in the Whitby area before finally retiring 12 years ago. She was also a church warden for 20 years. We caught up with Eva about why she volunteers Re-engage and what makes her tick.
